What the results show
The main result displays your age in years, months and days. Below that you will see your age converted to total days, total weeks, total months and total hours. A progress bar shows how far through your current year you are. The full breakdown table gives you every unit of time at once.
For birth dates the extra cards show your birth month, the exact day of the week you were born, and your generation name such as Millennial or Gen Z.
How Age Is Calculated
Age calculation sounds simple but getting it exactly right involves a few steps. Months have different numbers of days. Leap years add an extra day in February. This calculator handles all of that automatically so your result is always accurate to the day.
Step by step method
The result is your age in years, remaining months and remaining days. This is the same method used in most countries and on most official documents.

Person born on November 15 2006. Age on March 16 2026.
About leap years
A leap year happens every four years when an extra day is added to February making it 29 days instead of 28. The years 2000 2004 2008 2012 2016 2020 and 2024 are all leap years. This calculator accounts for leap years automatically when it converts your age to total days. If you were born on February 29 the calculator uses March 1 for non-leap years when calculating your birthday countdown.
